How It Works
Free-Spinning Spool
The spool turns on sealed ball bearings, so the cord feeds out the front guide with almost no drag.
Wheel on Both Sides
Flat wind wheels on the left and right. Wind with whichever hand is free; the arrow shows the direction.
Removable Cord
The cord end carries a puck that seats in the spool. No knot to untie, so you can swap cords or wash one without taking the winder apart.

The winder is built to carry, protect and organize the cord. Clip the snap to the dog and drop the cord or hold it by hand; don't use the winder as a handle to stop a running dog.

The winder hook slides onto the Liberty Pines Rail. The winder hangs by its handle and takes 153 mm of rail, with room left for a lead hook on a single 200 mm rail.

Questions
Will it fit my own check cord?
It's sized for 30 ft of 3/8 in cord. Your cord needs the cord puck on its end to lock into the spool. Spare pucks and cords are coming.
Does it lock?
No. The winder is for storing and handling the cord, so the spool turns freely. Hold the wheel with your palm if you want to slow it.
Left-handed?
Yes. It has a wind wheel on each side.
Can I buy the winder without a cord?
Not right now. It ships as a full kit so the cord and puck are fitted and tested together.
